The shareholders of Telematic Interactive Bulgaria AD have voted on the distribution of dividend from the retained earnings for the past years, the company said via the website x3news.com.
The dividend was approved at the general meeting of shareholders held on 11 March.
Investors will be paid a gross amount of BGN 0.39 per share and BGN 0.37 net for individual shareholders. The total amount is just over BGN 5 million.
Persons registered in the central securities register as entitled to receive dividends on the 14th day following the day of the general meeting, or on 25 March 2024, shall be entitled to receive dividends. The last date on which transactions in the Company’s shares on the Stock Exchange with entitlement to this dividend may be effected is 21 March.
The company will begin paying the dividend on April 2.
Payments to shareholders who do not have client sub-accounts with investment intermediaries will be made through FIB.
This is the fourth dividend Telematic has paid to shareholders since listing on the stock exchange two years ago. In mid-2022, four months after the start of trading in its shares, the company paid BGN 2.35 per security gross.
Last year, the company distributed a dividend twice – BGN 1 per share for 2022 and another BGN 0.4 also from retained earnings for previous years.
The Company has stipulated in its Articles of Association to pay out as dividend at least 40% of the profit for each year, i.e. it follows a strict dividend policy.
The company continues to work on its expansion in Peru and North Macedonia, where a more active marketing campaign is to be implemented in the second half of the year. Through its subsidiary C.T. Interactive, Telematic offers gaming content in over 20 markets through more than 1,500 partner sites on a revenue-sharing basis.
Last year, Telematic also created a new department under strategic management with a focus on acquisitions of game development companies and other solutions to expand its content and product portfolio and services for customers. They are also working on a studio to host live games.
In 2023 Telematic Interactive Bulgaria generated 16% revenue growth to 113 million leva compared to just over 70 million leva for 2022. Average monthly active customers in 2023 increased by 6.5% compared to 2022 to 88,662 and average revenue per customer by almost 9% to BGN 106.
Profit reported a moderate decline of 6% to BGN 21.3 million from BGN 22.6 million in 2022 due to higher costs associated with expansion and growth.
In the last year, Telematic’s shares have appreciated by over 17% and its market capitalization is just under BGN 200 million.
