Telematic Interactive took part in the first meeting of the ESG Committee of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIB/KRIB) as a representative of the Association of Gaming Industry in Bulgaria. The aim of the meeting was to introduce the ESG Committee members to the reporting platform, initiatives, trainings and tools of the Bulgarian UN Global Compact Network in the field of sustainable development.
The ESG Committee at CRIB was established at the end of 2023 with the aim of achieving higher standards of sustainability and social responsibility in business in Bulgaria. As the first public company in the Bulgarian gaming industry, Telematic Interactive supported the creation of such a committee to encourage businesses to implement sustainable policies in their work.
At the meeting, representatives from the GC Network Bulgaria told more about the benefits for businesses of implementing sustainable policies, the methodology for training staff on sustainability, and tools that companies can use.
The GC Network Bulgaria was officially launched in 2011 by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Bringing together companies, NGOs, and educational institutions, the GC Network Bulgaria is the most active organization in the country in the field of sustainable development, with professional expertise built over more than a decade in the framework of the world’s largest sustainability forum that defined the concept of ESG – the UN Global Compact.
The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the ESG Committee at KRIB Boyan Tomov (Brand Media Bulgaria), Vice-Chairmen of the Committee Kamelia Slaveykova (Shell Bulgaria), Mariana Hamonova (Kleintech Bulgaria), as well as other members of the ESG Committee.
