Leading persons from the field of finance and law gathered together and discussed the prospects for the first company from the gaming industry registered on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange – Telematic Interactive Bulgaria AD. This happened within the framework of the Eastern European Gaming Summit (EEGS), which started on November 23 at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia.
The moderator of the event was the editor-in-chief of Money.bg – Georgi Minev. In front of him, Nikolay Vassilev, Managing Partner of Expat Capital and former Deputy Prime Minister, commented on the growth observed in the company: “At the moment, the company is valued at BGN 200 million, this represents a serious growth, taking into account the company’s indicators from the beginning of the year. If Telematic continues to move at this pace, it is possible that in the future we will witness the first Bulgarian unicorn company”.
During the session, the prerequisites that must be present in order for a company to go public were noted – “First of all, it is transparency, all ultimate owners must show their face, name and connections”, explained Desislava Panova, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Telematic Interactive Bulgaria AD. She also added that a mandatory element of the communication with investors is for the company to share with them any inside information related to upcoming contracts and projects.
Georgi Minev discussed with Lachezar Petrov, Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of Telematic Interactive Bulgaria AD, the company’s intentions to become the second Bulgarian company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange – “Before we enter any foreign market, our experts very carefully examine the benefits and risks of such a move. We are preparing for the listing on the Frankfurt Exchange in order to ensure the financial liquidity of the company, which increases the potential for growth and for expansion of the business,” said Petrov.
Among the speakers were Viktor Tokushev, Founder and Managing Partner of Tokushev and Partners, and Svetozar Abrashev, Senior Managing Partner of Sofia International Securities AD. At the end of the session, speakers predicted that the following year would be a favorable period for the implementation of investments and financial operations.
