On the 10th of October, the country’s first listed gaming company took part in a charity auction organised by the Real Madrid Foundation. The purpose of the event was to raise funds for the sports school in Vidin, founded by the Foundation in 2016 in partnership with the Sports Friends Foundation, and the opening of another school near Sofia. The majority shareholder of Telematic Interactive – Milo Borisov attended the charity dinner and took part in the noble campaign.
During the auction, exclusive Spanish club collectibles were presented for attendees to bid on. Among the unique items were a facsimile of the menu from the dinner when the UEFA Champions League was founded in 1955, signed by dinner attendees, and a Real Madrid shirt from the 2023/2024 season signed by first-team players.
The funds raised will be used for the school in Vidin, which aims to integrate disadvantaged children through sport, and to launch a similar project around the capital.
The initiative was attended by representatives of the government, the diplomatic corps, sports circles and business. Also present at the auction was legendary Real Madrid striker Emilio Butragueño, who said that everyone can contribute to ensuring that their football education project continues into the future.
