Telematic Interactive supported the outstanding tech projects presented at the seventh edition of the national exhibition ‘Youth Technical Creativity’, which took place on 9 and 10 November at the Nikola Petrov Sports Hall in Gorna Oryahovitsa. The goal of the initiative is to provide an opportunity to promote innovative projects developed by young people in Bulgaria in order to strengthen the link between professional education and business.
The first prize of the exhibition ” Youth Technical Creativity” was awarded to Stoyan Ganchev, a student of Plovdiv Mathematics School. The winner is developing medical software and managed to impress the jury of experts and the event organisers.
The awards, including a plaque award, a diploma, and a prize of BGN 1,000, were presented by Rossi McKee, the ultimate owner of the majority shareholder of Telematic Interactive, the Mayor of Gorna Oryahovitsa Nikolay Rashkov, Ing. Vladimir Grigorov, and the Director of the Municipal Enterprise “Youth Activities, Sports Properties and Events” Eng. Petya Bogdanova.
“It is a matter of national pride to see so many young talents gathered here from all over Bulgaria. We believe it is important for businesses to direct their efforts towards providing support for talented Bulgarian youth and to provide them with more opportunities for professional development in the country,” says Rossi McKee, the ultimate majority shareholder of Telematic Interactive.
A total of 47 projects of 170 participants were presented at the exhibition, among the most interesting for the audience were shoes with a piezo generator and a hydro-electric turbine, presented by the teams of M. В. Lomonosov”, as well as the retro corner, where equipment from the past was exhibited.
